New Delhi/ Lucknow, September 9 (IANS). Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement praising China in America has created a ruckus. BJP has attacked Congress over this. It says that Rahul Gandhi’s love for China is well known, he runs a fake shop of love.
BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said on Monday that Rahul Gandhi’s love for China is well known. He has been meeting Chinese leaders secretly. That is why he is praising China. When he praises China, he should look into his own conscience. When China was expanding the rail network in its country, why was it not done in India? Why was bullet train not being thought of in India? The BJP spokesperson said, from Atal Bihari Vajpayee to today, the Narendra Modi-led government has worked to expand infrastructure in all directions.
Rahul Gandhi also commented on Indian women during his foreign tour. He said that BJP and RSS want women to stay at home and do household chores. BJP leader Rakesh Tripathi strongly objected to his statement. He said that Rahul Gandhi says whatever comes to his mind. He should present a report of comparative study of the work of Congress and BJP government.
The BJP spokesperson said that Rahul Gandhi should tell what work was done for the upliftment and empowerment of women when his party was in power? Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has freed women from open defecation. Women have more than 54 percent share in Jan Dhan today. Work has been done to make women self-reliant through Lakhpati Yojana and Drone Yojana.
He said that our government has done justice to women by abolishing triple talaq. Narendra Modi’s government has taken the initiative to advance women in every field. Narendra Modi’s government has also passed the act of 33 percent reservation for women in Parliament and Legislative Assemblies. Rahul Gandhi’s statements have no basis.
BJP spokesperson Shazia Ilmi also strongly criticized Rahul Gandhi’s statement. She said that Rahul Gandhi’s lies are always caught. What kind of a shop is his Mohabbat ki Dukaan, where goods of the Tukde-Tukde gang are available? Toolkit gear is sold there. He himself is using this by going abroad. Everyone knows the way he has run the Mohabbat ki Jhoot ki Dukaan.
The BJP spokesperson said that Rahul Gandhi always says that the Constitution will be changed. However, everyone knows that his grandmother (Indira Gandhi) has attacked the Constitution of the country the most. Ever since Article 370 was removed in Jammu and Kashmir, for the first time the people of Jammu and Kashmir are going to vote in the assembly elections under the Indian Constitution. Rahul Gandhi wants to bring back Article 370, so he has joined hands with the National Conference.
