Politics: Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is currently on a visit to America. When Rahul Gandhi is on a foreign tour, he attacks the government and PM Modi even more fiercely. This time too he is attacking PM Modi from foreign soil.
The Congress leader, while addressing the people associated with the Indian Overseas Congress in Herndon, Virginia on Monday night (local time), said that after the Lok Sabha elections in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strategy of intimidation has now disappeared. Rahul Gandhi said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strategy of intimidation was limited only to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and as soon as the elections were over, it also disappeared. The Congress leader further said that many people told me that now they are not afraid, now the fear is gone.
Attacked BJP
Rahul Gandhi, Lok Sabha MP from Rae Bareli in UP, also attacked the BJP. He said, the Bharatiya Janata Party does not understand that this country belongs to everyone and India is a union. It is clearly written in the Constitution that India, which is the Union of India, includes different histories, traditions, music and dance. They (BJP) say that this is not a union, it is something else.
Our accounts were frozen before the Lok Sabha elections
The Congress leader said, our bank accounts were sealed three months before the Lok Sabha elections and we were discussing with our fellow leaders what to do now. I said let’s see what can be done and we contested the Lok Sabha elections.
But it all ended in a moment
Not only this, Rahul Gandhi also mentioned the atmosphere after the Lok Sabha elections in India and said, something has changed after the elections. Some people said, now we are not afraid, the fear is gone. The Congress leader said, it is very interesting for me that BJP and PM Modi spread so much fear, put pressure of agencies on small businesses and after the Lok Sabha elections, all this disappeared in a few seconds. It took them years to spread it, but everything ended in a moment. Rahul Gandhi said, in Parliament, I look at the Prime Minister in front of me and can say that Modi ji’s 56-inch chest, the claim of having a direct connection with God, all that has now become history.
