Raja Bhaiya Statement: The winter session of Uttar Pradesh Assembly has started from Monday. During the discussion in the session, Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, MLA from Kunda, Pratapgarh, gave a big statement raising the issue of Sambhal violence and Kundarki elections. He said that we (Sanatani) have never built temples by demolishing any religious place. We respect the court order.
Raja Bhaiya said in the House that being a Sanatani and a Hindu, no Sanatani has any objection if the court orders a survey on any temple. He said that we have not built temples by demolishing anyone’s religious places. He mentioned the Sambhal violence and said that the survey was done on the orders of the court. Does stoning change any court order? He said that we Sanatani never throw stones. We respect the court’s decision.
this is a serious matter
He further said what should be done to change any court order? Should they have pelted stones, or should they have gone to a bigger court? He said that stones should not be thrown at police administration officers and employees. This is a very serious matter, no sympathy has been expressed towards the policemen who were injured during stone pelting.
If there is discussion the truth will come out
He said that the survey work was going on peacefully. The job of governance and administration is to implement the court’s decision. He requested the Assembly Speaker that if this issue is discussed, many truths will come out.
Violence in Bahraich like Sambhal
He further said that like Sambhal, violence took place in Bahraich. Here 22 year old Ram Gopal Mishra was brutally murdered, he had got married only four months ago. The extent of cruelty is that several bullets were fired on his body. Not only this, nails were also taken out from the hands.
How did the Hindu win?
Raja Bhaiya raised the issue of SP MLA Nawab Iqbal Mahmood’s statement on Thakur Ramveer Singh, who was elected MLA from Kundarki in the assembly by-election. He criticized his statement ‘Votes have been looted in Kundarki. They have become MLAs by looting votes, otherwise 65 percent are Muslims and 35 percent are Hindu voters, how did Ramveer Singh win? But he said that in the assemblies where the number of Muslim voters is less than Hindus, do they become MLAs by looting there? Are there Hindu majority assemblies that do not vote for Muslims? He said that this is the biggest wonder of the earth that when 65 percent are Muslims, then how did Hindus win?
Should it be assumed that votes have been looted?
He said that Thakur Ramveer Singh is a respected member of this House, who is being insulted by calling him a robber, which is wrong. Raising the question, he said that where there are more Hindu voters, the Hindu MLA should win and where the number of Muslims is more than 50 percent, the Muslim MLA should win. If this does not happen then can we assume that there has been looting of votes? He has demanded the Speaker of the Assembly to remove such things from the proceedings of the House.
