Jodhpur, October 2 (IANS). Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday assured that the government will fulfill every election promise. He had reached Jodhpur to express condolences on the demise of senior BJP leader and several times MLA from Jodhpur’s Sursagar assembly seat Suryakanta Vyas. BJP workers welcomed him on reaching Jodhpur airport.
Speaking to reporters at the airport, he said, “I wanted to come to express condolences on the demise of the senior leader of our party whom we knew as ‘GG’. But could not come due to busy schedule. Today ‘GG’ I have come here to express my condolences on her demise. She was a dear sister to all of us.”
The Chief Minister said that Seva Pakhwada was celebrated from September 17 to October 2. Various programs were organized under Seva Pakhwada and historical functions were also carried out. He said, “We have given pattas to our 21 thousand nomadic and semi-nomadic families, who have no place to live. This will help them get permanent residence.”
He further said that on September 17, the government worked to provide employment to eight thousand youth. The state cabinet has taken a historic decision on September 29. This is the first such decision in which it has been decided to provide employment to 90 thousand youth.
CM said, “I wish everyone all the best through you and our government is providing employment to such youth who need employment. Our party leaders have gone among the public and our government will fulfill every resolution.” , which we took during the elections.”
Let us tell you that 87-year-old Suryakanta Vyas, popularly known as ‘GG’, was ill for a long time. When his health deteriorated on the morning of 25 September, he was taken to Mathuradas Mathur Hospital where he breathed his last at around 7:15 in the morning.
