Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited Srinagar on Thursday and interacted with the armed forces, congratulated him on the success of Operation Sindoor. The Defense Minister criticized Pakistan’s ability to handle nuclear weapons and asked if nuclear weapons were safe in the hands of a “wicked” nation like Pakistan.
He said, “The world knows that the target of our army is infallible and when it targets, the count leaves to enemies. How strong India’s resolve is today, it is known that we do not even care about their nuclear blackmail. The whole world has seen how irresponsible Pakistan has threatened India.”
He said, “Today, from the land of Srinagar, I want to raise the question whether nuclear weapons are safe in the hands of such irresponsible and evil nations. I believe that Pakistan’s nuclear weapons should be taken under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).”
The Defense Minister credited the success of Operation Sindoor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of the armed forces. Rajnath Singh also appreciated the “anger” shown by the people of Jammu and Kashmir against Pakistan and terrorism.
Rajnath Singh said, “The whole country is proud of what you did during Operation Sindoor under the efficient leadership and guidance of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I can be your Defense Minister, but before that I am a citizen of India. You have destroyed Pakistani posts and weavers across the border, the enemy can never forget it. “
The Union Minister started his address with the slogan of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and paid tribute to the martyred soldiers fighting against terrorism.
Rajnath Singh said, “First of all, I want to pay homage to the highest sacrifice of brave soldiers while fighting terrorism and terrorists. I pay tribute to his memory. I also pay tribute to innocent citizens killed in Pahalgam. I also salute the valor of the injured soldiers and pray to God to be healthy as soon as possible.”
Earlier, the Defense Minister interacted with soldiers at the Badami Bagh Cantonment of Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir and raised his confidence by appreciating his valor and courage during Operation Sindoor. Rajnath Singh was accompanied by Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
During the conversation with the soldiers, the Defense Minister patted the soldiers’ shoulders and expressed his appreciation by joining hands with them.
Rajnath Singh also inspected Pakistani goals that were demolished in Jammu and Kashmir during the border shelling after India attacked nine terrorist bases under Operation Sindoor.
Appreciating the soldiers to destroy Pakistani posts, Rajnath Singh said that the enemy will never forget Operation Sindoor.
