Ram Kadam held Abu Azmi responsible for Nagpur violence, NC leader said - 'Aurangzeb cannot be erased from history'

Mumbai, March 18 (IANS). BJP MLA from Maharashtra Ram Kadam has blamed the Samajwadi Party President and MLA Abu Azmi for the violence in Nagpur on Monday.

Ram Kadam said in a conversation with IANS on Tuesday, “The Abu Azmi whom Udu Thackeray made on his lap is responsible for this. Azmi started the cheering of Aurangzeb, which increased the public outrage.”

He defended Maharashtra government minister Nitesh Rane. The BJP MLA said, “He (Nitesh Rane) played his role in Hindutva and I believe that no one can stop him from doing so. Our Hindutva has a role, and always will be.”

On the incident in Nagpur, BJP MLA Sanjay Upadhyay said, “The way Hindus were set on fire in Nagpur, police were attacked and Hindus were targeted, I stand in support of every Hindu who has suffered torture. Those who are behind criminals and conspiracy should be exposed and action should be taken against them.”

National Conference MLA Tanveer Sadiq said on Nagpur violence, “I believe that this issue is being deliberately created to create problems between Hindus and Muslims. Some chaotic elements want to incite conflict between the two communities, which is wrong. It is possible to remove Aurangzeb’s tomb, but it can not be erased from history. It cannot be erased from history. It is more serious and more serious problems in this country. Going to do.”

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said in a directive to the police commissioner after the Nagpur violence that whatever strict steps should be taken to maintain law and order should be taken, taken and peace should be made. He has directed to take strict action against the riot -spreading and stone -pelting.
