This morning at around 5.30 am, he was taken out of jail in a secret manner and taken to his camp in Sirsa. According to the ABP report, Honeypreet Insan came to Rohtak’s Sunaria jail to pick up Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who has come out of jail on parole today. Amidst tight security, Baba was taken to his camp. Baba has received parole and furls 11 times so far. Last time Gurmeet Ram Rahim got 20 days parole in October 2024. Baba was brought to Sunaria Jail on 25 August 2017 after being convicted in the case of violence in Panchkula. Baba has been sentenced to 10-10 years in the case of sexual abuse of two sadhvis. Baba has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder of journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati. The Punjab Haryana High Court has acquitted former Dera Manager Ranjit Singh in the murder case.

On 24 October 2020, Gurmeet Ram Rahim came out of jail on a 1 -day parole to meet his mother admitted in the hospital. On 21 May 2021, Gurmeet Ram Rahim got a 12 -hour parole to meet his mother. On 21 November 2023, Gurmeet Ram Rahim came out of jail on a 21 -day leave and reached Baghpat Ashram. On 19 January 2024, Gurmeet Ram Rahim was brought out of jail on a 50 -day leave. On 13 August 2024, Gurmeet Ram Rahim came out of jail after taking a 21 -day leave and reached Baghpat Ashram. On 2 October 2024, Gurmeet Ram Rahim got 20 days of parole. He stayed at Barnava Ashram in Uttar Pradesh. On 28 January 2025, Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been released on 20 days parole and will stay in Sirsa Ashram.
