Respect differences, live in harmony: Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Sunday that differences should be respected and solidarity is the key to harmony.

Bhagwat said after hoisting the national flag during the Republic Day celebrations at a college in Bhiwandi city in Thane district of Maharashtra that Republic Day is a celebration as well as “to remember its responsibilities towards the nation”.

Bhagwat said in the context of diversity that differences should be respected and “the key to living in harmony is solidarity.” He said, “We consider diversity as a natural part of life.” You may have your own characteristics, but you should treat each other well. If you want to live, you should live a harmonious life. If your family is unhappy, then you cannot be happy. Similarly, no family can be happy if there is any problem in the city. ”Bhagwat emphasized the importance of working with knowledge and dedication.

He said, “It is important to be entrepreneurial, but you should always do your work with knowledge. Any work done without thinking does not get the fruits, but such a work causes trouble.

Bhagwat clarified his point and compared rice cooking with the need for knowledge in any work. He said, “If you know how to cook rice, you will need water, heat and rice. But if you do not know how to cook it and instead you eat dried rice, drink water and stand in the sun for hours, then it will not be able to make food. Knowledge and dedication are necessary. ”The Sangh chief also spoke on the importance of trust and dedication in everyday life.

Bhagwat said, “If you drink water in a hotel and go away, you may have to be humiliated or be seen with a low eye.” But if you ask for water in someone’s house, then you are filled with water with a food item. What is the difference? There is trust and dedication in the house. Such work gets fruits. ”
