RLD News: An important meeting was held today in the State Office of Rashtriya Lok Dal, Lucknow for the preparations for the Panchayat elections. The meeting was chaired by the Convenor and National Secretary of the Panchayat Election Steering Committee, Dr. Kuldeep Ujjwal did.
The meeting discussed the strategy of panchayat elections, strengthening of the organization and the responsibilities of the committee members in detail. National General Secretary of Rashtriya Lok Dal Shri Anil Dubey was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Addressing the meeting, Dr. Kuldeep Ujjwal said that “Panchayat elections are the basis of the assembly elections. If we are strong at the panchayat level, success will be fixed in the assembly also. In the panchayat elections, we have to give strength to their voice by winning the trust of farmers, laborers, women, youth and general public. Rashtriya Lok Dal will activate the organization till the village-village, booth-booth. Our strength will pave the way for our future big elections in the panchayat elections.
He further said that panchayat elections are not only a political process but the root of the real strength and democracy of the villages. “The development of the village, the progress of the farmers, the opportunity to the youth and the participation of women-the foundation of all these is from the panchayat.
Chief Guest Anil Dubey, the National General Secretary said that “Rashtriya Lok Dal Panchayat will contest the election with full force. Panchayat elections are the real backbone of RLD and the party will contest alone in the entire state for the prosperity of farmers, laborers, women and village.”
Especially the members of the Panchayat Election Steering Committee constituted as per the instructions of National President Chaudhary Jayant Singh were present in the meeting. Convenor in the committee, Dr. Kuldeep Ujjwal (National Secretary) and Member – Rohit Pratap, Mohammad Zaid, Vikas Kadian, Santosh Singh and Havildar Yadav were included.
It was decided in the meeting that a five -member committee will be formed in each district. The responsibility of the formation of these committees has been given to the district presidents and this work will be under the supervision of the Regional President concerned. The Panchayat Election Steering Committee constituted at the state level will monitor these committees.
Committees will assess people wishing to contest elections at the ground level, they will collect their biodata and test them and the loyal candidates will be selected towards the Jitau and the party. Participation of women and all classes will be ensured in each committee.

Pathak, Shivprasad Dwivedi and Mohammad Zaid.
In the meeting, all the leaders in turn presented their suggestions and views. Finally, the convenor of the Panchayat Election Steering Committee, Dr. Kuldeep Ujjwal ji expressed gratitude to everyone and said that “We all have to work together to strengthen the ideas and principles of the national president of the party, Honorable Chaudhary Jayant Singh.
