Sources gave this information. He informed that Robert Vadra’s statement will be recorded under the Money Prevention Act (PMLA).
Vadra (56) was called by the investigating agency to record the statement last month, but he requested to postpone his summons due to foreign travel.
The Central Investigation Agency is interrogating Vadra in three different money laundering cases, one of which is also a case. The other two cases are related to alleged irregularities in land deals.
The Delhi Income Tax Department raided the 63 -year -old Bhandari, soon he fled to London in 2016. A Delhi court has recently declared him a fugitive economic offender.
A British court rejected the Government of India’s application last month in which he sought permission to appeal to the Supreme Court of Britain against the acquittal of him in the extradition case against Bhandari. With this application, the possibility of bringing him to India to face the law was almost over.
The ED filed a charge sheet in the case in 2023 alleging that Bhandari was 12, Brianston Square, London in 2009, was “bought” and “it was repaired and” repaired by Robert Vadra for repair. “
