At the same time, Kanpur Mayor Pramila Pandey has described the pushing and shoving as love and affection. He said that there are some members of both the parties who do this type of act, which is not right.
Regarding the allegation against the SP MLA, he said that when the Municipal Corporation had invested Rs. 30 lakhs there and the MLA has also given some money from his own fund, then he has no right to remove the names and photographs of the councilors from the stone slab. This will be investigated. I will ask the zone officer under whose pressure this work was done.
He said that all the temples will be found, painted and cleaned and encroachment will be removed from there.
Before this, there was an uproar on Tuesday during the proceedings of the Kanpur Municipal Corporation House. There was a fight between BJP and SP councilors. Councilors of SP and BJP raised slogans against each other. During this time the Mayor kept appealing to both the parties to remain calm. When the uproar did not stop for about 20 minutes, the Mayor left the House proceedings and went out.
Raising the issue in the House, BJP councilor Vikas Jaiswal said that in his area, SP MLA Amitabh Bajpai is destroying the works done by the Municipal Corporation and getting the work done from the MLA’s fund. SP councilor Rajat Bajpai protested on this. After this an argument started between the two councilors. As the argument escalated, a commotion started. Meanwhile, BJP councilors started raising slogans against SP MLA Amitabh Bajpayee. On protest, BJP councilors surrounded the SP councilor and pushed him.
After this, the Mayor warned the councilors who were creating ruckus to throw them out. Even after this the councilors did not calm down and the mayor walked out of the house. There, a fight broke out between the two parties. Seeing the dispute escalating, other councilors present there distanced everyone and asked them to remain calm.

Congress councilors remained absent from the House. The mayor expressed displeasure on this. He said that the House will run for two days. All councilors will be given three minutes each to speak on the issues.
Naseem Solanki, who reached the House for the first time, called the Mayor as aunt. She said, aunty, take care of this city. He demanded to provide housing to the people evicted from above Sisamau drain. In response to this, the Mayor said that the entire city is mine, it is my family. The people who have been removed from the drains will be examined. If eligible, housing will be given under PM Awas Yojana.
