Haryana Election : There has been a ruckus after the statement given by Bollywood actress and Bharatiya Janata Party MP Kangana Ranaut on farmers. BJP had distanced itself from Kangana’s statement, after which Kangana also said that we take back our words. However, politics has intensified over her statement. Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has attacked BJP strongly and raised questions on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi posted a post on his social media handle X on Wednesday. In his post, he wrote, who is deciding the government’s policy? A BJP MP or Prime Minister Modi? Even after the martyrdom of more than 700 farmers, especially farmers of Haryana and Punjab, the BJP people are not satisfied. He further wrote, INDIA will not let any conspiracy of BJP against our food providers succeed. If any step is taken to harm the farmers, then Modi ji will have to apologize again.

Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut had given a big statement on the Farmers Bill last Tuesday. She had said that farmers are the strong pillars of India’s progress. Agricultural laws were opposed in only a few states. The Farmers Bill should be brought back again for the benefit of the farmers. BJP had distanced itself from this statement of Kangana. After this, Kangana had clarified that we take back our words. Kangana said that in the last few days the media asked me some questions on the Farmers Law and I suggested that farmers should request Prime Minister Modi to bring back the Farmers Law. Many people are disappointed and frustrated by my statement. When the Farmers Law was proposed, many of us supported it, but our Prime Minister withdrew it with great sensitivity and empathy and it is the duty of all of us activists to respect the dignity of his words.
