When BJP leader Sanjeev Balyan suddenly took to the field against BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy, there was a lot of discussion that Balyan had jumped into the field at the behest of Home Minister Amit Shah. Rudy supporters celebrated late night outside the club as soon as they won the election. Then breaking the silence, Rudy openly said that this victory is more than one lakh votes. Despite the BJP leadership fielding Balian against Rudy, Rudy directly revealed the reasons for his victory as soon as he won and said that his panel also included people of the opposition including Congress and SP.
Rudy’s victory is being seen as an important stage in the battle of Delhi vs UP in political circles. Also, the opposition is seeing this as its victory against the government.
Also, there is a plan to bring BJP on the backfoot by connecting Rudy’s victory to Bihari Asmita in Bihar elections.
