Akhilesh Yadav: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has recently reacted to a disputed poster. The poster was released by party worker Lalchand Gautam, in which Akhilesh Yadav and constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was shown in half face together.
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) raised a sharp objection to this poster. After opposition from the opposition, the Samajwadi Party came on the backfoot, and now Akhilesh Yadav himself has issued a statement on the issue. In Ballia, Akhilesh Yadav said that we will explain to Lalchand Gautam not to make such a picture with any leader or great man in future. But will the Bharatiya Janata Party also stop its leaders from talking like this?
The dignity of great men above any comparison
With this statement, Akhilesh Yadav shared a message on Twitter in which he made emotional appeal to his workers and supporters. He wrote that we express their heartfelt gratitude for the love, affection and dedication of all our supporters and party workers. But we also appeal not to compare any party leader with any divine and revered great man. It was written in the tweet that he also said that the duty of any true devotee should be that he should follow the path shown by great personalities, not to compare them to the current leaders. The dignity of great men is much above any comparison.
With this entire controversy, the SP has given a clear indication that the party does not support the steps that hurts any religious or social spirit. At the same time, Akhilesh Yadav retaliated on the opposition and also said to maintain restraint and dignity in political attacks.
