Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati, while targeting the Samajwadi Party (SP), accused the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) campaign of exploiting Dalits for political gains.
The BSP leader said in a series of posts on ‘X’, “It is known that like other parties, the SP is also facing cases of stress and violence, especially Dalit people, especially Dalit people. The period of their highly controversial rhetoric, allegations and programs etc., it seems to be their politics of grossly narrow selfishness.”
He said, “Because the SP can also go here to any extent for the selfishness of the votes of Dalits. So Dalits as well as other backward and Muslim society etc. should not come under any furious misunderstanding and avoid falling prey to its political tactics.”
Mayawati said that at the same time, opportunistic Dalits associated with such parties should tell about the goodness of the saints, gurus and great men of their society and their struggle instead of vaccinating on the history of others.
