Sambhal, 6 December (IANS). Special security arrangements have been made before the Friday prayers at the Shahi Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Policemen are keeping an eye on every activity through drone cameras from the rooftops of all the houses located around the mosque.
Three-layer security arrangements have been made near the Shahi Mosque. All worshipers will be able to enter the mosque only after passing through this three-layer security system. A large number of police forces have been deployed at all sensitive places, who are keeping a strict vigil.
District Magistrate Rajendra Pensia had given detailed information regarding security arrangements on Thursday.
He had told, “Today we held a meeting with 30 committees. Apart from this, we also talked to the heads of all the mosques. To ensure that Friday prayers take place peacefully, instructions were given to make arrangements for three layers of security. Even before this, three-layer security arrangements were made.”
Had said, “We are completely alert and alert regarding Friday prayers. The matter of relief is that everything is under control and calm.”
The District Magistrate had said that the administration has not fixed any number as to how many people can come for Friday prayers. But, “We have appealed that a minimum number of people should come for namaz.”
On November 24, the team and policemen who had come to conduct survey at Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal were attacked by miscreants. After this the situation turned violent. 5 people died in this violence.
The government had said that strict action would be taken against all the miscreants involved in violence.
Recently, posters of the miscreants identified on the basis of CCTV footage were also released.
