Actually, Sameer Wankhede came into limelight last year when he arrested Aryan Khan, son of film actor Shahrukh Khan, from a cruise in Goa. He was accused of taking drugs in the Courage party. However, after a few days the court acquitted Aryan Khan. He was also accused of corruption in this case. After this, a departmental inquiry was also conducted on him. Let us tell you that there is a Mahayuti government in Maharashtra. In which apart from Shinde faction and NCP Ajit faction, BJP is the largest party. While the second is the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance which includes Congress, NCP Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena Uddhav faction.
