Ayodhya, Sep 5 (IANS) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday attended the award distribution ceremony of ‘Bharatma Ashok Singhal Veda Puraskar – 2024’ organised under the banner of Singhal Foundation in Ayodhya.
He said that for the country and Sanatan Dharma, we will now have to worry less about our rights and think more about our civic duties. Sanatan is the only religion in the world. If Sanatan Dharma remains safe and moves forward on the path of prosperity, then the path of welfare of world humanity will be paved. If Sanatan Dharma is in danger, then the life of world humanity will be in danger. Ashok Singhal had taken an engineering degree from Kashi Hindu University, but his life was dedicated to Sanatan Dharma as a preacher of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
CM Yogi said that Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement and Ashok Singhal were complementary to each other. He had only one task while sleeping, waking up, getting up, sitting, and that was the attainment of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. For that, he was eager to adopt both the paths of peace and revolution. The result of his contribution in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement is that the most excellent event of this century happened on 22 January 2024. On this day, Lord Shri Ramlala was enthroned in the grand temple by the lotus hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When the sadhana is true, then the result is definitely achieved.
CM Yogi said that Ashok Singhal’s efforts for the upliftment of the untouchables are incomparable. The Veda Vidyalaya and Ekal Vidyalaya established by him were also a part of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement. ‘Vedo Akhil Dharma Moolam’ means if there is any origin of the religion of the whole world, then it is the Vedas. Ashok Singhal had worked to literally implement this importance of the Vedas in his life. Cow protector Sundar Yadav was murdered by cow smugglers in Azamgarh. There was a movement against that murder, which was led by Ashok Singhal. The result of this was that the killers of cow protector Sundar Yadav went to jail.
CM Yogi said that ‘Bharatasya Pratishthe Dve Sanskritam Sanskritistha’ means India’s prestige can be in Sanskrit and culture. This is the soul of India and this can be the soul of the world. Today the world looks towards India with hopeful eyes for peace, security and harmony. Today whenever any incident happens in the whole world, the world’s eyes are on India’s leadership. Whenever there will be talk of peace, harmony, happiness and prosperity in the world, the world’s attention will go towards India’s Gurukuls. India will lead it.
