Mumbai, 13 April (IANS). Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam on Sunday accused Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut of spreading lies. He said in a conversation with the media that it is completely baseless to say that Raut has differences between the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and two Deputy Chief Ministers.
Nirupam called Raut a ’emperor of lies’ and said that his claims have proved wrong on issues like Bihar elections. He lashed out at Raut’s ‘Saamana’ and said that he printed false news without facts. Nirupam appealed to the people of Maharashtra to beware of Raut’s lies.
Nirupam said that in the coalition government of Shiv Sena, BJP and NCP, there is a great synergy between the top leaders of the three parties. Even if there is any differences, it is resolved by mutual interaction. He lashed out at Raut and said that only people like Sanjay Raut can connect the discussion with bloodshed.
Nirupam also dismissed Raut’s claims on the recent Maharashtra tour of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Raut had claimed that Shah made a wrong statement about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Nirupam said that Shah had talked about Shivaji Maharaj’s childhood and his statement was honorable.
Taking a dig at Raut, he said that those who are aligning with Congress and Aurangzeb’s supporters have no right to question Shah’s honor towards Shivaji Maharaj.
Nirupam said that Shivaji Maharaj is a deity for the Shiv Sena and the people of Maharashtra will not tolerate Aurangzeb’s grave. He demanded Raut that if he objected to Aurangzeb’s grave, openly oppose it and support the BJP-Shiv Sena stance.
Speaking on the situation in West Bengal, Nirupam targeted Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee. He said that as long as Mamata Banerjee is the Chief Minister, Hindus will not be safe in West Bengal.
Referring to incidents like Murshidabad, he said that it is necessary to remove Mamata Banerjee’s government to protect Hindus from migration. Nirupam praised Baba Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, who is working for the interests of Hindus. He said that BJP and Shiv Sena support such people.
Nirupam also expressed his opinion on the insistence of Marathi language of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). He said that Marathi language should get priority in Maharashtra, but the path of violence is not right for this.
He suggested that MNS should be started coaching centers to teach Marathi. Also, he advised Raut to condemn the attack on North Indians and non-Marathi speakers.
