Patna, March 13 (IANS). A vigilance of security has been made among the statements of celebrating Holi in Bihar. Special monitoring is being kept on those who disturb the hoodlings and peace. Magistrates and about five thousand jawans have been deployed at about 600 places in Patna. The administration is on alert in view of Jumme and Holi.
Holi will be celebrated on 14 and 15 March in Bihar. Here, Bihar Director General of Police Vinay Kumar has appealed to the people of the state to maintain mutual harmony. He has given a message about following traffic rules, not driving rash and not playing DJs. He said that during the festival, do not promote anti -social status like DJs, publicly playing pornographic songs, Hooddang on the streets.
Cooperate in keeping the law and order strong. At the same time, those who spread rumors on social media, those who promote disharmony will be monitored. Strict action will also be taken against those who disturb social harmony during the festival.
Meanwhile, Patna’s Senior Superintendent of Police Holiday Kumar has appealed to give information to the district control room immediately in case of any disturbance. It was told that police will be deployed near mosques and khankahs on Friday and full monitoring will be done. Many police teams are also keeping surveillance on social media.
Motihari police is also cautious about Holi. A flag march was done in various areas. Apart from this, state -of -the -art riot vehicles were dispatched from the first district headquarters of Holi.
District Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat said that these vehicles are equipped with roof mounted teardrop gas barrels and they have firepower up to 100 meters. There are a total of 14 barrels that can rotate in all four directions. These vehicles have cameras around all around which will keep recording all situations. Focus lights are also installed all around so that they can also be seen at night. There are many facilities including phone, first aid box inside the vehicle.
