Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Shatrughan Sinha took a sarcasm at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him a ‘publicity minister’, who campaigned for 10 to 12 hours daily.
Actor -turned -leader Sinha attended an election rally in support of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Atishi.
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the ‘AAP’ opposition alliance ‘are the constituents of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (‘India’). Sinha took a sarcasm at Modi and said, “Our Honorable Publicity Minister… Publicity Minister means Prime Minister.”
He said, “He is my friend and also my Prime Minister. It is said that he works for 18 hours, but I find him busy in publicity 10 to 12 hours. Be it councilor, MLA or parliamentary elections, wherever we see, our honorable Prime Minister definitely goes there. ”
The TMC MP cited Modi’s previous election promises such as two crore jobs, doubling farmers’ income, Rs 15 lakh in each person’s bank account and alleged that these promises were not fulfilled.
