New Delhi, March 20 (IANS). The rhetoric on the violence in Nagpur, Maharashtra continues. Shiv Sena and Congress MPs on Thursday demanded action in the Parliament House complex, looking at the issue from their political point of view. At the same time, BJP MP Tejashwi Surya said about the objection of the south states on delimitation that no one will harm anyone.
Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora told the news agency IANS on the issue of Aurangzeb, “Aurangzeb was raised by the opposition, because the Maharashtra government is doing good work and trying to overcome the problems of the people. They want to create obstacles and mislead people. Also they want to create discontent in the state.
On Nagpur violence, he said, “I believe that some time ago a famous actor’s house was attacked in Mumbai and after that attack, the Mumbai Police investigation revealed that an illegal Bangladeshi immigrant was attacked. Therefore, this (Nagpur violence) should be taken action as soon as possible. The state government, central government agencies together should marry all infiltrators, illegal immigration and marked them as soon as possible.
On the Nagpur violence, Congress MP Shyamkumar Barve said, “I also watched the video and the sheet is seen burning in it. However, it is a matter of investigation what was written on the sheet. I think the Home Minister of Maharashtra should not give a statement and do not talk about any one side. Whoever is the mistake of both sides, who should be punished with the words of three hundred years old. It is a responsibility to maintain peace in Maharashtra. It is the responsibility of both the judiciary and the government.
Milind Deora said on the case of Disha Salian death of Mumbai, “I do not want to politicize the issue. I will also request the politicians of Maharashtra not to politicize it. However, the events are serious and I am confident that the state and central governments will take immediate action with our justice system. Also their family will be given justice.”
BJP MP Tejashwi Surya said on the Tamil Nadu delimitation issue, “Elections are being held in Tamil Nadu in the year 2026. Keeping the election in mind, the ruling DMK is raising issues like delimitation and imposing Hindi. It has not been a difference on the election of 2026.
