Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has sought answers from senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia in the matter of education loan of Rs 1.50 crore from some private individuals. The BJP has alleged that the loan was taken for Sisodia’s son’s education abroad.
Hitting back at BJP, AAP questioned BJP about the assets of its New Delhi candidate Pravesh Verma.
The Aam Aadmi Party said in a statement, “There was a stir in the BJP when Manish Sisodia took a loan for his son’s education, while Pravesh Verma declared a liability of Rs 63 crore, including a personal loan of Rs 55 crore, and the BJP did nothing on this.” She is not saying.
Citing Sisodia’s election affidavit, BJP’s Delhi unit president Virendra Sachdeva said in a press conference that three persons had contributed to the education loan of Rs 1.50 crore given to the former deputy chief minister. He said that BJP will contact agencies to investigate the loan received by Sisodia.
