Six Vande Bharat trains gifted to the country, programs organized at various places in Bihar

Banka, September 15 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off six Vande Bharat trains, including the Vande Bharat train running between Howrah and Bhagalpur. On this occasion, programs were organized at Barhat and Mandarhill stations of the Mandar Hill railway section. Grand stages were built at both stations, where school children gave a wonderful performance.

The six new Vande Bharat trains which the Prime Minister flagged off in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi will cover Tatanagar-Patna, Brahmapur-Tatanagar, Rourkela-Howrah, Deoghar-Varanasi, Bhagalpur-Howrah and Gaya-Howrah. This train has the capability to take passengers to their destination at a speed of 160 kmph. Along with the Vande Bharat Express train, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also laid the foundation stone of several railway related projects.

MLA from Banka, Ram Narayan Mandal said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted the country six Vande Bharat trains. I thank the Prime Minister for this.

MLA from Belhar Manoj Yadav said, we thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving the gift of Vande Bharat train.

Regarding Vande Bharat train, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi wrote in a post on Twitter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 6 new Vande Bharat trains today through video conferencing. This gift given by the Prime Minister to the countrymen will prove to be a ‘milestone’ for the rail network.

Bihar government minister Dr Prem Kumar wrote on Twitter, “Bihar has picked up speed. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Express through video conferencing, adding another important chapter to the state’s progress.”
