In Delhi, small political parties like BSP and AIMIM are making a strategy to cut the votes of the three main political parties AAP, BJP and Congress in the upcoming assembly elections, so that their game can be spoiled.
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is planning to contest all 70 seats, while All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is fielding candidates on more than 10 Muslim-dominated seats. Both parties have planned rallies of their key leaders – Mayawati (BSP) and Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM).
Small political parties in the national capital are gearing up to put up a tough challenge in the upcoming elections. He is making many promises including solving various issues in Muslim dominated areas, tackling corruption and good governance.
One of these is the Indian Liberal Party (BLP), recently founded by Munish Kumar Raizada, a US-based physician, and others associated with the Anna Hazare-led anti-corruption movement.
Raizada said that he and Arvind Kejriwal were part of the anti-corruption movement, but now they have decided to give a tough fight to AAP.
Raizada, who returned to India about 15 months ago, will contest against AAP chief Kejriwal from New Delhi seat. Former BJP MP Pravesh Verma is also contesting from this seat, while Congress has given ticket to Sandeep Dixit.
Raizada told PTI, “We will do long-term development in Delhi. If BLP comes to power in Delhi, the first thing we will do is constitute Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).”
