At Jaipur Airport, the Customs Department has caught snakes, spider and scorpion of various species from an aircraft from Bangkok. These poisonous organisms were being smuggled for intoxication. 2 suspected passengers have been detained. According to customs officials, two suspected passengers were reported from the informer in Air Asia flight coming from Bangkok. Both were taken into custody as soon as the aircraft landed in Jaipur. During the search, 7 plastic cans were found from the passengers, including snakes, scorpions and spider.
During interrogation, it was found that these creatures were being smuggled for drugs. However, both claim that they did not know about the material placed in the boxes. After the action taken at eight in the morning, information has been given to the officials of the forest department.
