Surat, 16 April (IANS). Raghuraj Singh, a minister in the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh, in Surat, a sharp retaliation on the statement of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Indrajit Saroj. He accused the SP of speaking against Hinduism and adopting the policy of ‘divide and rule’.
Raghuraj said, “These people are not ready to call their father as father. Try to please Muslims to get the votes of the Mughals. Get their DNA checked, their family will have a relationship with the Mughals. Those who speak against Hinduism.”
Raghuraj, citing the increasing influence of Hindutva, said that the world is now accepting Hinduism, but some people are slandling Hinduism in their own home. Referring to the bathing of 66 crore people in Prayagraj, he said, “These people are shocked after seeing the support base of Hindutva. They are speaking against Hindus for 15-16 copy Muslim votes.”
On the statement of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav that the BJP is afraid of the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority), Raghuraj taunted, “Akhilesh Yadav is born with a spoon of gold, he has no knowledge. He is Pappu of the state, Rahul Gandhi is the country’s Pappu. He has become unemployed, so he has taken away the mentality.”
He claimed that the Mughals and the British Hindu could not destroy the Sanatan Dharma and now the fame of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is waving in the world.
On the question asked about the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), Raghuraj said, “UCC will be applicable across the country. If not today, it will be applicable tomorrow. Gujarat has taken the initiative, and UCC will be implemented soon in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Yogi ji.”
On the issue of Waqf Board, Raghuraj Singh said that the Modi government has worked for the poor Muslims, but the properties of Waqf did not benefit the poor. He said, “The Congress had given 7 lakh kilometers of land to Waqf during the Manmohan Singh government. Madni has assets worth 400 crores and Owaisi has assets of 250-300 crores, but poor Muslims did not get anything. 12 thousand crore wakf wealth comes only 150 crores, which will not enough for the salary of the board.
On the situation in West Bengal, Raghuraj said, “The people of Delhi defeated Kejriwal. Now Mamta Banerjee is left, whose bail is going to be forfeited in the upcoming assembly elections.”
