Srisailam Tunnel Accident: CM Revanth Reddy reviewed the tunnel accident, instructions to intensify rescue work

New Delhi, 22 February (IANS). Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted a thorough review of the SLBC tunnel accident. During this time, Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, who reached the spot, and Adviser of the Irrigation Department Adityanath Das gave complete information about the accident to the Chief Minister.

The review meeting was also present in this review meeting, Vem Narendra Reddy and other senior officials. On the occasion, Chief Minister Reddy directed that rescue work should be done fast to save 8 workers trapped in the tunnel. He also took information about the condition of the injured and said that the injured workers should be provided better medical facilities.

The Chief Minister also said that the government is standing with the families of the victims and will help them all possible.

The minister said that the teams of NDRF and SDRF have left for the accident site. The CM said that the officials of all concerned departments should be cautious in the context of relief work and ensure that rescue operations do fast.

Let me tell you, the Indian Army has taken the front to take out the people trapped in the tunnel. The army sent its engineering task force (ETF) to the spot. The army team has started rescue operations under humanitarian aid and disaster relief operations. The Indian Army’s Engineer Task Force is equipped with state -of -the -art equipment, which is essential for such complex and challenging missions.

The army has deployed various expert teams in this mission, including medical teams, ambulances and all the equipment required for rescue operations. The army has started actively functioning to evacuate people trapped in the tunnel.
