The Indian Army has taken the front to take out the people trapped in the tunnel. The army sent its engineer task force (ETF) to the spot. The army team has started rescue operations under humanitarian aid and disaster relief operations. The Indian Army’s Engineer Task Force is equipped with state -of -the -art equipment, which is essential for such complex and challenging missions.
The army has deployed various expert teams in this mission, including medical teams, ambulances and all the equipment required for rescue operations. The army has started actively functioning to evacuate people trapped in the tunnel.
Regarding this incident, CM Reddy said that the officials were immediately alerted after the tunnel collapse and many people getting stuck. I have ordered the officials of District Collector, SP, Fire Department, Hydro and Irrigation Department to reach the spot immediately and take relief measures.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over phone. During this, he discussed the rescue operation of the personnel trapped in the SLBC tunnel of the state.
