Lucknow News: On Tuesday, Samajwadi Party national president and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the BJP government. He said that BJP has betrayed the farmers. Made false promises to farmers and cheated them. BJP’s policies are anti-farmer and supporting the capitalists. He further said that the BJP government has looted the land and crops of the farmers. Farmers’ income has not doubled. The crops are not even getting the right price. In different parts of the country, farmers’ lands are acquired for various schemes but the government does not give them remunerative prices as per the market.
BJP is giving farmers’ land to rich families
BJP snatches the land from farmers and gives it to industrial houses at throwaway prices. This is the condition of farmers’ crops. Farmers’ crops are bought cheaply and sold at a higher price for profit. BJP government provides opportunity to its close industrialists and businessmen to earn profits. The condition of farmers is bad in Uttar Pradesh. The cost of farming has increased due to continuously increasing inflation. The government is not even able to provide fertilizers and seeds to the farmers. There is a huge shortage of DAP fertilizer in the entire state. BJP government is responsible for this deficiency.
Black marketing of fertilizers is taking place in every district of the state. BJP leaders took control of the committees and did black marketing and profiteering of fertilizers. Farmers stand in long lines. Fertilizer was not available for sowing the crops. The BJP government is exploiting farmers at every level. When a farmer prepares a crop by applying expensive fertilizers, expensive ploughing, expensive sowing, expensive irrigation and expensive pesticides, then he does not get the remunerative price of his crop. He further said that these days farmers are worried about paddy. Paddy is not being procured. The government did not declare the sugarcane price. Farmers are most troubled under the BJP government. The farmers, troubled by the exploitative policies of the BJP, are determined to take revenge for their insult and exploitation by removing the BJP from power in the 2027 assembly elections.
