Bhopal, 20 February (IANS). Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has made the film ‘Chhava’ based on the life of Maratha ruler Sambhaji Maharaj on the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji.
The film ‘Chhava’ released on 14 February in theaters remains a topic of discussion. While praising the film, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ on Wednesday, “On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ji, I announce to tax free the Hindi film ‘Chhava’ based on his son Sambhaji Maharaj. “
Earlier, Mohan Yadav posted on X and saluted Shivaji on the occasion of Jayanti. He wrote, “I salute on the birth anniversary of the founder of Hindavi Swarajya, Veer Shiromani and Rashtra Nayak Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. For the honor and freedom of the motherland, Shivaji Maharaj ji’s loyalty, dedication and sacrifice will continue to inspire us for eternity.”
Let us know that the ‘Chhava’, built under the direction of Laxman Utekar, is based on the Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his wife Maharani Yesubai. Chhatrapati Shivaji’s son Sambhaji is played by Vicky Kaushal. At the same time, actor Akshaye Khanna is in the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
The grand set, the story of valor and the film adorned with magnificent actors also surrounded controversies. There was tremendous opposition to the scene of the film, in which Vicky Kaushal in the role of Sambhaji Maharaj was seen dancing with Rashika Mandana, the character of Maharani Yesubai after the coronation.
Rashmika Mandana-Vicky Skill starrer ‘Chhava’ was released in theaters on 14 February. Before the release, the entire team of the film was engaged in promotion. The team of ‘Chhava’ went to big cities of the countries like Kolkata, Patna, Sambhajinagar and Amritsar after starting with Mahadev’s darshan at the Dhrishneshwar temple.
