Bihar Politics: Before the assembly elections to be held at the end of the year, the RJD has played a big announcement in the politics of Bihar. Party President Lalu Prasad Yadav has said that Tejashwi Yadav will be the Chief Ministerial candidate from India alliance. In the party’s state council meeting held in the capital Patna, Lalu Yadav called upon the party workers to throw all the strength to make Tejashwi the CM. However, the INDIA coalition has not yet officially announced the CM face. Right now discussion is going on about the seat sharing in the alliance. But no consensus has been reached so far.
Tejashwi sought a list from allies
Tejashwi Yadav had asked the parties involved in the alliance a few days ago to give a list of seats inside the next one week on which they want to contest elections. Also, tell me why they are presenting a claim for these seats. Let me tell you, Tejashwi is also the head of the coordination committee of India alliance.
Congress took silence
While on the one hand, Tejashwi has been declared the face of the post of CM by RJD. However, he has not received any support from the Congress so far. According to sources, the Congress will give its support to Tejashwi only after the seats are coordinated. Congress leaders recently met Tejashwi and demanded a seat sharing soon.
Regarding the sharing of seats, the Congress said that the whole process will be completed in the Grand Alliance within the next one month. Let me tell you, in the last assembly election, RJD contested 144 seats and won 75. This time Tejashwi is planning to contest 125-130 seats. Of which 15-20 seats can be given to allies.
Changing equations and new faces
The political atmosphere is changing rapidly before the Bihar elections. Both the Grand Alliance and NDA are renewing their strategies, while some new parties have also become active in the field. Election analyst Prashant Kishore has claimed that neither Lalu Yadav nor Nitish Kumar will be able to return to power in the upcoming elections. In such a situation, the politics of Bihar seems to be standing at a new turn.
