Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Amit Thackeray said on Thursday that the coalition did not happen in the media and Shiv Sena-(Ubatha) chief Uddhav Thackeray and MNS chief Raj Thackeray should talk to each other about any possibility of the alliance.Raj Thackeray is the cousin of Uddhav Thackeray.
Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray have given air speculation that they can ignore “minor issues” and join hands after nearly two decades of bitter differences.
The MNS chief has said that it is not difficult to unite in the interest of Marathi Manush and Uddhav Thackeray said that he is ready to keep small battles on the shore, provided that those working against the interests of Maharashtra are not preferred.
Raj Thackeray’s son Amit Thackeray told reporters, “Both brothers should talk. (Apart from both) Our talk on this issue will not make any difference. I have no problem with coming with both brothers but I have seen this in 2014, 2017 (reference to the failure attempt of MNS to form an alliance with the then undivided Shiv Sena).
He said, “When Uddhav Thackeray was the Chief Minister even during the Corona virus epidemic, Raj Thackeray supported him. If he (Uddhav), he can call. Talking in the media does not have an alliance. They have mobile numbers of each other, they can talk to each other.
Amit Thackeray, who faced defeat in his first election during the state assembly elections last year, comes after the statement of Shiv Sena (Ubatha) leader Aditya Thackeray that if someone wants to come together to protect the interests of Maharashtra, “We will also take him along.”
Uddhav Thackeray’s son and former state minister Aditya Thackeray said that his party’s intention in this matter is very clear.
Targeting Shiv Sena (Ubatha) MP Sanjay Raut, Amit Thackeray said, “In the morning, who are you fooling?”
Raut told reporters on Thursday that his party leader is very positive about the alliance between Shiv Sena (Ubatha) and MNS.
Raut said, “Our views are clear. We can sacrifice anyone in the interest of Maharashtra. ”
MNS leader Prakash Mahajan said on Wednesday that if Shiv Sena (Ubatha) is really serious about the alliance between the two parties, then his leader Aditya Thackeray should come forward and meet Raj Thackeray.
Mahajan said that a leader of “appropriate” in the Shiv Sena (Ubatha) headed by former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray should go to MNS President Raj Thackeray to discuss the possible alliance. He said that if a junior leader is sent for talks, then Raj Thackeray will also send it to a junior officer.
Mahajan said, “If you want to alliance, Aditya Thackeray should come forward and understand Raj Saheb’s thoughts. If Aditya Thackeray (for talks) comes forward, both sides will understand the seriousness. Marathi people have a feeling of coming together. ”
Mahajan said that there is no harm in this experiment of coming with the Thackeray brothers (Uddhav and Raj Thackeray), politically separated. He said, “We (MNS) did this experiment in 2014 and 2017. If they are serious, there is no problem in leading in this regard. ”
