New Delhi, December 3 (IANS). Opposition parties had formed ‘India Block’ to stop Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. But, after the Lok Sabha elections are over, there seems to be a rift in this block.
Actually, at present the winter session is going on in the Parliament. Where the opposition wants to speak on many issues. But there are many issues on which the parties involved in the alliance are not able to agree. Where Congress is focusing on other issues including EVMs in the House. At the same time, other parties want that such issues should be raised in the House, which have direct connection with the public.
Here, on TMC MPs not attending the India Block meeting in Delhi, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Sharma has said that recently in Uttar Pradesh you saw how Congress ran away from the electoral field. SP tried, but lost. Congress knew that it would have to face defeat, so it retreated. The SP, Congress and TMC alliance is a mismatch. Such issueless and purposeless alliances are temporary and can break at any time. This opposition is without issue. There is opposition rejected by the public. They conspire to prevent the House from functioning by creating ruckus and are busy worrying about their party.
On the issue of Bangladesh, MP Dinesh Sharma has said that Bangladesh is going through atrocities and is trapped in the clutches of extremists. Minority Hindus are being continuously persecuted there, but no party including Congress, SP or AAP has said a single word. He can raise his voice for Palestine and Lebanon, but not for the Hindus of Bangladesh, because he does not see a vote bank in them.
