New Delhi, October 5 (IANS). There was a tussle between BJP and AAP ministers on Saturday over the appointment of bus marshals in the national capital Delhi. Delhi BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva called it a political drama of the Aam Aadmi Party.
Virendra Sachdeva said, “The drama created by AAP leaders regarding bus marshals inside the secretariat is condemnable. Everyone knows that bus marshals were removed by Arvind Kejriwal, but as the elections are approaching, the party is now remembering the public. The leader of our legislative party had asked for time from the Chief Minister that this problem should be resolved immediately, but the Chief Minister is afraid of meeting our MLAs.
He said that the entire script was written to create ruckus. Had his intentions been good, he would have shown sensitivity on the Marshall issue. We knew that such a drama was going to happen, hence we requested the Lieutenant Governor that there is a need to listen to the problem of the marshals and find a solution. I am happy that a delegation of Marshals met the Lieutenant Governor and got the assurance to resolve this issue with seriousness.
He said that the character of Aam Aadmi Party has again come in front of everyone that these people only do political drama. Elections are near and they know that their political ground has slipped. Arvind Kejriwal’s corruption is speaking to the entire Delhi. Everyone is aware of the condition of Delhi’s schools, Delhi’s roads, electricity bills and water problems. The combination of liquor and Sheesh Mahal has worked to hollow out Delhi.
On the question of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal setting up a public court, Virendra Sachdeva took a jibe at Kejriwal and said that I want to ask the former corrupt CM that if he had listened to the voice of the public for 10 years, then today two months before the assembly elections. There is no need to set up a public court.
He said that Arvind Kejriwal kept the doors of Sheesh Mahal closed to meet people. They have looted Delhi. In such a situation, the public court being held by them is nothing but an attempt to hide their embarrassment.
