Satyapal Malik posted on X and wrote, ‘I am getting calls from many well -wishers, which I am not able to pick up. My condition is still very bad. I am not in a condition to talk to anyone. I am admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital since 11 May. He was admitted to the hospital due to complaints of infection. Now the situation is very serious and kidney dialysis is being done for the last three days. Hello friends, calls from many of my well wishers are coming, which I am not able to pick up. Now my condition is so bad that I cannot even talk to anyone. I am admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital since 11 May. He was admitted to the hospital due to complaints of infection.

Kidney failure is in critical condition after suffering serious complications related to urinary infection of Delhi. Ram Manohar Lohia has been admitted to the hospital, due to which his kidney has failed. Dr. Malik was admitted to the hospital on 11 May, when he complained of excessive pain and difficulty in urination. One of his close aide has confirmed that both his kidneys have stopped working and their condition remains critical. A senior doctor at the RML Hospital said on the condition of anonymity, “Initially he had a urinary infection, but now the infection has severely damaged the kidney. We are doing all possible treatment, but the situation is very serious.”

According to the CBI charge sheet, what are the allegations of rigging the tender process related to Malik and deliberately benefiting some companies? This project is considered important in terms of development in Jammu and Kashmir. During its investigation in February 2024, the CBI had searched Satyapal Malik’s residences in Delhi and more than 30 places including premises in Jammu and Kashmir.

Kiru Hydroelectric Project is located in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. The project is being implemented by Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPPPL). According to the CBI investigation, heavy irregularities were found in the tender process for the civil works of the project. In the 47th board meeting of CVPPPL, it was decided that the tender process would be re-conducted through e-tendering and reverse auction, but it was not implemented. Instead, the contract was given directly to Patel Engineering Limited.
