Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Ramshankar Rajbhar fiercely targeted the central government during the discussion on the Pahalgam terrorist attack in the Lok Sabha and the ‘Operation Sindoor’ launched in its response. He said that the country does not want ‘Operation Sindoor’, but ‘Operation Tandoor’, so that the terrorists can be pierced in the fire.
MP raised this question? Rajbhar said that there was an atmosphere of resentment in the country after the Pahalgam attack and the public wanted retaliation on the terrorists within three days. But the government started the operation after 17 days, which was against public sentiment. He questioned, “The terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack, are the 100 killed in the 100 terrorists? This is the real question.”
The MP further said that the Pahalgam attack was a conspiracy to incite riots in India, but Hindu-Muslim unity thwarted the enemies’ plans. He described this unity as the real power of India and said that the country can be kept strong only by communal harmony.
Referring to Donald Trump’s statements, Rajbhar in his speech also mentioned the statements of former US President Donald Trump. He said that Trump had publicly claimed about 26 times that he had a role in conducting a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Trump also said that it was possible with the sale of American weapons. Rajbhar asked the government that if Trump’s claim is correct, then what was India’s role? He said in a sarcastic tone, “The real world guru was sitting in the White House.” His gesture was repeatedly towards the Prime Minister being called “Vishwaguru Bharat”.
There was some uproar in the House during Rajbhar’s sharp speech, but he said that they are keeping people’s sentiments in Parliament. He urged the government to take the country’s security and public outrage seriously.
