New Delhi, March 22 (IANS). BJP national spokesperson Nalin Kohli has said that India’s GDP has doubled in the last ten years, which is an important achievement for the country.
He also said that this success is a direct result of the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the economic policies of his government.
Nalin Kohli said, “When Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about India of 2047, it is a strong and positive message, making a developed India and moving towards the 5 trillion dollar economy.”
BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli expressed displeasure over the remarks of senior DMK leader. He said, “It is very unfortunate that a minister of the Tamil Nadu government compared Sanatan Dharma to a disease and now another minister has made derogatory remarks about North Indians. Can we expect a minister to expect such a language, who is sitting in a high constitutional post?”
Kohli raised the question whether an Indian should talk about such objectionable things about his citizens. This type of insensitive and divisive language cannot be expected from a minister, which reduces the prosperity and harmony of the country.
In fact, a video of senior DMK leader of Tamil Nadu Durai Murugan has gone viral in the past, in which he is seen making controversial statements about North Indians.
Criticizing the culture of North India, Durai Muraugan said that Dravidian culture is much better than the culture of North India.
He said, “The culture of North India accepts polygamy, there a woman marries 5 to 10 men and gives birth to children. While there is nothing in our Tamil culture. In North India, five men marry a woman and when one man goes, the other comes.”
