New Delhi, 1 February (IANS). Leaders of political parties are holding rallies to campaign for Delhi assembly elections. Meanwhile, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhhi targeted Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) while addressing a press conference at the party office in Delhi on Saturday.
Imran Pratapgarhi said that the Congress is contesting elections in Delhi in a very brilliant way. All of us are continuously campaigning in the entire state. The rest of the leaders including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are busy campaigning. I myself am constantly going to public meetings across the state.
Imran Pratapgarhi said that the people of Delhi are bored with the Aam Aadmi Party government. You have been taking the vote of minorities from the past several elections, but this party has never seen standing with minorities. Kejriwal has only cheated and deceived minorities in the last 10 years. Even in Kejriwal’s team, no Muslim was represented. There is a lot of anger in Delhi about this matter and people are also asking questions.
Imran Pratapgarhi asked many questions to former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal:- Why did Kejriwal remain silent on the riots in Jahangirpuri and East Delhi?; Why did Manish Sisodia keep silence on the issue of Bilkis Bano? Why was Kejriwal and the entire party against the Shaheenbagh movement?; At the time of Korona, Kejriwal, along with the BJP government, discredit Markaz and Tabligi Jamaat? When Aam Aadmi Party MLA Naresh Yadav was punished in the case of disgrace, why did Kejriwal still try to save him? Why did Kejriwal put Muslims behind in terms of representation?;
At the same time, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi refused to react to the Union Budget. He said that the party will respond in a press conference in the evening.
Explain that 70 assembly seats of Delhi will be voted on February 5 and the results will be declared on February 8.
