Ranchi, September 23 (IANS) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) targeted BJP national president and Union Health Minister JP Nadda over his visit to Jharkhand. JMM general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya called him the ‘extended national president’ of the BJP.
Supriyo Bhattacharya said during a press conference on Monday, “Today BJP’s ‘extended national president’ JP Nadda came on a visit to Jharkhand. Today he started a ‘conspiracy tour’ in which he said a very good thing and told that he had come to Khunti during the Lok Sabha elections. I just want to tell him that in the Lok Sabha elections, JP Nadda dug a pit for the BJP and put Arjun Munda in it.”
He further said, “While addressing a rally in Khunti, JP Nadda talked about tribal identity. But, I want to tell him that the infiltrators from other parties present in his party became the first CM of the state. Then, Arjun Munda was made the Chief Minister and after that Madhu Koda was made the CM. Not only this, Raghubar Das was also made CM for five years. My question to him is why it took so much time to celebrate ‘World Tribal Day’ 22 years after the formation of the state? Why did Hemant Soren have to start Tribal Day from 2023?
JMM general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya questioned Nadda and said, “He shows favour and says that we have made a tribal woman the President. Now the President has also become the election agenda of the BJP. This has never happened in the country before. The BJP started this and said that we have made a Dalit the President of the country. The BJP is now defeated and desperate. Are mothers and daughters safe under the BJP rule? They have taken away the bread of the poor.”
He further said that he was reviewing the BJP’s ‘conspiracy tour’, where the maximum crowd was seen, the number was only between two to two and a half thousand. They have sold the banks, railways, GAIL, Indian Oil and airports in the country. Those whom the BJP used to call brothers are sitting abroad with India’s money.
