Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav said on Friday, describing Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, that if Nishant joins politics, it is likely that JD (U) will survive.
Tejashwi told ANI, “He is our brother. I want him to join politics as soon as possible, otherwise BJP will end the party JD (U) formed by Sharad Yadav. He should soon join politics. If he joins politics, it is likely that JD (U) will survive. It will depend on how Nishant works for the party.”
He said, “We did not come into politics because our parents asked us to do so, but because the people of Bihar and our party workers needed it.”
The RJD leader termed the Chief Minister of Bihar as “Chief Minister of circumstances” and said that the people of Bihar have rejected Nitish Kumar. He said, “Nitish Kumar ‘is the Chief Minister of the situation”. People of Bihar did not want them to become the Chief Minister and rejected him. RJD was the largest party. “
The former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar said that there is no fight in Bihar and the people of the state want change and developed Bihar.
He said, “There is no fight here, people want change and developed Bihar. It will be the son of Bihar who will take Bihar forward, not a Gujarati or any outsider. Prime Minister Modi needs to tell what they have given to Bihar and Gujarat in these 11 years.”
Reacting to the court summons in the job scam case instead of land, the RJD leader said, “Let it stay in the court. When the Election Commission has become the ‘cheerleader’ of the BJP, what can we say about ED and Income Tax (Department)?”
Earlier on 25 February, Nishant Kumar had urged the people of Bihar to support his father Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the upcoming elections.
Nishant Kumar said, “I urge the people of Bihar to vote for Bihar CM Nitish Kumar as he has developed a lot in the state. Last time people had given 43 seats. They should ensure that we win more seats in elections so that we can continue the pace of development.”
He urged JD (U) workers to take Nitish Kumar’s policies and achievements of the last 19 years to the people of Bihar. Assembly elections in Bihar are expected to be held in October-November this year.
