Bengaluru, March 12 (IANS). Karnataka BJP President and MLA BY Vijayendra on Wednesday raised some questions about the gold smuggling case related to actress Ranya Rao. Asked how much gold was smuggled during 30 to 40 trips from Dubai to Bangalore from Dubai?
During a conversation with the media at the Bangalore Vidhan Sauha, Vijayendra said, “We have never heard of gold smuggling on this scale in the state. The daughter of a senior IPS officer traveled 30 to 40 times and whenever she reached Bangalore, she was given a royal honor. There was a situation that no one could stop him or investigated.”

He insisted that this issue should be discussed in the assembly.
When BJP MLA ST Som Shekhar’s allegations “BJP leaders may join the gold smuggling case”, Vijayendra said, “Everyone knows why MLA Som Shekhar is supporting the Congress -led government. We have decided about them at the state level. A report has been sent to the national leadership and we are waiting for their decision. ”
