The spirit with which 'India' block was formed remains intact: Pawan Kumar Bansal

Chandigarh, January 12 (IANS). Former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader Pawan Kumar Bansal spoke to IANS on Saturday about the weakening alliance between the parties included in the ‘India’ block.

Congress leader Pawan Kumar Bansal said, “Many times meetings are not held in a routine manner. But the decision and the sentiments that were there before the Lok Sabha, under which the alliance was formed, remain intact. Bharatiya Janata Party is not good for the interest of the country.” And the policies, how to oppose them, how to force the government to follow the same path.”

He said, “BJP is distorting what our freedom fighters had envisioned for India. To stop this, we need the existence of an alliance. It is possible that the party may contest elections on its own at different places. It seems that this is how we will fight together, this cannot be possible everywhere.

In the context of Delhi elections, the Congress leader said, “Aam Aadmi Party has been elected for two consecutive terms. Now it has become clear that this Aam Aadmi Party is just their name, they are not the common man. Now this time people will reject them.” On the other hand, what is their thinking? They want to create riots on every issue. Get separated from all these things. Seeing this, people will bring Congress to Delhi. The people there remember Sheila Dikshit’s government.

It is noteworthy that voting for 70 assembly seats of Delhi is proposed in a single phase on February 5. Its results will be revealed simultaneously on 8th February.
