New Delhi, September 12 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party Scheduled Caste Front National Vice President Ram Avatar Valmiki had a special conversation with IANS on Wednesday. He fiercely targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Reacting to the statement made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in America, Ram Avtar Valmiki said, “When the Lok Sabha elections were going on, all the Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi used to take the Constitution with them to every public meeting they addressed and used to say that if the BJP government comes to power, it will change the Constitution. They tried to mislead and deceive our innocent SC-ST community people living in the country at the time of elections. But now their mentality has come to the fore. Whatever they said from America, it actually shows who is ultimately against the Constitution?”
Ram Avtar Valmiki said, “Rahul Gandhi said from the soil of America that when his party comes to power, it will end the reservation of SC, ST and OBC. Earlier, when Nehru ji was in power, Nehru ji had written a letter to the states in which Congress was in power and told them that if they want, they can end the reservation in their states. After this, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi also opposed reservation in their time.”
He further said that due to the statement of Rahul Gandhi in America it has now become clear that if Congress party comes to power it will do anti-reservation work.
The BJP leader claimed that the impact of this statement of Rahul Gandhi will be seen in the upcoming Haryana elections and Jammu and Kashmir elections. The people of both the states will teach a lesson to the Congress. Congress has always tried to mislead the SC-ST community.
Actually, Congress leader and leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is on a visit to America. Here he made many statements against the ruling party of the country BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He also answered a question asked about reservation, due to which BJP leaders are attacking him.
