Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday appreciated the youth of the country and described them as ready and transformative. He further said that the youth of the country are installing milestones in research and carrying forward unprecedented innovations.

Addressing the Yugm Conclave held in New Delhi, the Prime Minister said, “Today the country’s youth is ready for research and development and transformative. They are establishing new dimensions of research. Today the country of the country is pushing forward unprecedented innovations … Recently, India has been represented globally in higher education ranking. Today, not the same number of Indian institutes is increasing in the rank of Indian institutions. The branches have started opening, which will increase the educational exchange.

Speaking about India’s AI mission, Modi said that world -class infrastructure with high quality data and research facilities is being constructed.

Modi said, “World -class infrastructure of high quality data sets and research facilities will be prepared through India’s Artificial Intelligence Mission. Excellence is also being increased … We are working towards our view of our view of making artificial intelligence best in India. We are working to include India in the list of future technology.”

He further said that super hubs of artificial intelligence, intelligence systems and others are being started in IIT Kanpur and IIT Bombay.

Modi further said, “Today, super hubs of Artificial Intelligence, Intelligence System, Bioscience, Biotechnology, Health and Medicine are being launched in IIT Kanpur and IIT Bombay. Today, Wadhwani Innovation Network has also been launched. Research has also been pledged to carry forward research along with the National Research Foundation. Regarding the goals of developed India, the Prime Minister said that a 25-year time limit has been set for this. He also emphasized that this journey should be completed in a short time as possible.

He added, “We have set the time limit of the next 25 years for the goal of developed India. We have limited time, the goals are big. I am not talking about the current situation. So it is important that our thoughts from prototype to product are completed in the shortest time. When we reduce the distance from the lab to the lab, the results of the research start reaching the rapidly.
