On the case of the murder of former Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) Om Prakash, Home Minister G. Parmeshwar has said that the truth will be known only after a detailed investigation. Police service officer Om Prakash was found dead in his residence in HSR layout in Bangalore on Sunday.
Parmeshwar told reporters, “Former DGP Om Prakash has been murdered. It is being said that his wife (Pallavi) has murdered him. The truth will be revealed only after a detailed investigation into the case.”
The minister said that Prakash became the Director General of Police (DGP) when he was a Home Minister in 2015.
When God was asked what could be the reason for the murder, he said that he had no information about it as the investigation has just started and the investigating officer has not shared any information yet. He also said that he was not aware of the alleged rift between husband and wife and suffering from Pallavi being suffering from ‘Shijopreenia’ (a mental disorder).
