New Delhi, September 3 (IANS). There has been a new twist in the Haryana assembly elections, where talks of an alliance between the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress are in full swing. It is being claimed that both the parties can contest the elections together. Meanwhile, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has given his reaction to the speculation of this alliance, he has said that this alliance has been done only in the greed for power and both these parties have come together forgetting each other’s opposing views.
Manoj Tiwari said that Congress has started feeling the need for an alliance in Haryana, which means that the people of Haryana are expressing their trust in BJP for the third time. Whatever little support base Congress had in Haryana, it has vanished here too after joining hands with Farooq Abdullah in Jammu and Kashmir, because the people here have also understood the point of view of Congress. Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are cheating the people of Haryana. Their alliance will not benefit the people. He said that BJP will fight strongly in Haryana and will gain the trust of the people.
Raising questions on the alliance of National Conference and Congress in Jammu and Kashmir, he said that in view of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, Congress formed an alliance with Farooq Abdullah’s party National Conference. This is the same party which says that we will bring back Article 370 again.
He said that the Congress has lost its ground in Haryana. Aam Aadmi Party has formed an alliance with them, which means it is clear that Aam Aadmi Party is also in favour of re-implementing Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the alliance of AAP-Congress will not pose any challenge to BJP in Haryana. These people had contested all the seven seats of Delhi in alliance during the Lok Sabha elections, where they had to face defeat.
It is noteworthy that voting will be held on all 90 seats on October 5 for the formation of a new government in Haryana. The election results will be declared on October 8. Earlier, elections were to be held in Haryana on October 1 and the results were to be declared on October 4.
