Begusarai, September 1 (IANS) Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh has raised questions on Rahul Gandhi’s foreign trips. The Begusarai MP said, “Rahul Gandhi is a foreigner and always goes abroad, he does not live in the country. He only spreads poison in the Indian society and then goes on foreign trips, so there is no problem if his name is kept as a foreigner.”
Giriraj Singh also expressed his opinion on the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. He said, “The Prime Minister’s effort was to hold elections in Jammu and Kashmir and he is working to make it happen. The family party has always ruled Jammu and Kashmir, they exploited the poor in Kashmir. But, PM Modi worked to establish democracy by conducting panchayat elections there and now it is the turn of assembly elections.
The Union Minister targeted Tejashwi Yadav on the issue of caste census in Bihar. He said, “Nitish Kumar conducted caste census in the state. Mandal Commission was implemented in the BJP government. But, these people are with the Congress party, who worked to cancel the Mandal Commission. Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav are with the same Congress and know how to fool the poor. They take the votes of Yadavs and work against them.”
Referring to the incident in Haryana, he said, “I don’t know what beef means. But, if beef means cow meat, then cow slaughter is banned in this country and Haryana.”
Giriraj Singh clarified his photo with trident. He said, “We will protect the trident and the trident protects us, that is why this photo has been put up. I have said that Dharma Rakshati Dharma, Trident is the symbol of our religion. We should keep the trident in our house, respect the trident, protect the trident, if needed, the trident will protect us.”
