During this, CM Yogi said that in every district, be it village or urban area, roads should be good, for this MPs and MLAs will also have to make efforts.
In fact, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has come into mission mode for excellent road connectivity in every gram panchayat, town, town area, city and metropolis. The Chief Minister has asked all the MPs and MLAs to prepare proposals within 15 days for the construction of new roads, bypasses or bridges and repairs of old ones in their areas. He said that there is no shortage of funds for roads. In such a situation, all the public representatives should discuss with the core committee in the presence of the minister in-charge of their district and prepare a proposal along with the district administration.
CM Yogi said that wherever there is a need for a new road, repair of an old one, bridge construction, ring road/bypass, major/other district road or service lane etc., public representatives should send proposals and immediate decision will be taken from the government level. will be. Even if a village has a population of at least 250 people, the facility of a pucca road should be available there.
The Chief Minister said that the public representatives of the districts where there is no bypass route should prepare proposals as per requirement. Adequate budget has also been kept for better connectivity of areas important from religious, spiritual, historical or mythological point of view. To encourage tourism, it is necessary to widen/strengthen the roads in such areas.
The Chief Minister said that better connectivity is necessary in the Industrial/Logistic Park/Sugar Mill area. Similarly, if anywhere the tehsil and block headquarters are not connected by a two-lane road, immediate information should be given. Work is underway to improve interstate or international connectivity. ‘Friendship gates’ are also to be prepared on the border. Public representatives should give their proposals in this regard also.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister also directed to complete the ongoing state-wide pothole-free road repair campaign in the first phase by October 10. The Chief Minister directed to remain active at ‘Zero Point’ to take action against overloading of heavy vehicles. He said that instead of investigating by disrupting normal traffic on the road, action should be taken from where the vehicle started moving. Administrative officers of all zones, divisions, ranges and districts were also present in the meeting.
