The speculation between the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the BJP had intensified the speculation between the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the BJP. Meanwhile, on Thursday, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat put a stop to these speculation and said that there may be a conflict between the Sangh and the BJP, but there is no quarrel.
Discussions of differences between BJP and its ideological Aadhaar Sanstha RSS began when Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat spoke of rising above election rhetoric and resolving the Manipur crisis on priority basis. His statement was seen in such a way that instead of staying on the election victory, there is now a need for concrete work.
Bhagwat’s 2024 comments came when the discussion was in full swing whether the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) did not fully support the BJP during the Lok Sabha elections and pulled back in a way.
Some people also saw his words as criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, because the Prime Minister has been mentioning the “head servant” of the people many times.
Bhagwat said, “We have a good coordination with every government, whether it is state governments or central government. But there are some systems that have internal contradictions. Even if the person sitting on the chair is 100% for us, he has to do that and he knows what obstacles are on the way. We have to give that freedom or not, we have no quarrel.” He made this statement at a press conference in New Delhi on Thursday and dismissed the claims of all internal differences.
This came a few days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as the “world’s largest NGO”. In his speech of Independence Day on 15 August, PM Modi praised the RSS, which will be 100 years old on Vijayadashami this October.
This mention also had political significance as recent reports of tension in the relationship of RSS-BJP were heard. Praising the RSS, BJP’s ideological original source from the Red Fort, Modi indicated that these alleged differences have now been left behind.
